James is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years managing projects and programs. He understands Lean Six Sigma and Integrated Project Delivery. Now, he is responsible for the City's properties, including construction and maintenance of civic facilities.

Farhad Alizadeh

Director, Civic Facilities - City of Surrey

Farhad leads a team giving strategic oversight for the City's to provide safe, reliable, and well-maintained spaces for public service and community engagement. His 20 years at the City of Surrey allowed him to hold several key leadership roles. Now, he is responsible for delivering operational excellence, innovation, and future-ready infrastructure.

Martin Younis

Director, Facilities and Project Development - City of Richmond

Martin brings 30 years engineering experience across public and private sector projects. He leads a multifaceted portfolio covering both operational services and strategic capital initiatives. Now, he is responsible for the team planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining new and existing facilities that include community centres, arenas, pools, libraries, heritage sites, community safety buildings, and corporate buildings.
